What to Expect

A typical service lasts about 90 minutes. At New Pilgrim, we worship by singing a well-balanced set of modern and traditional gospel songs, and the preaching will be unlike anything you've ever heard. If you are joining us for the first time, you can anticipate finding kind people who are discovering how to revere, obey, and preach Jesus Christ in this modern world.

We are imperfect people striving to serve a perfect God. No matter when you decide to visit, the primary focus of all of our services, classes, and group activities is on the practical application of Biblical principles. Jesus alone is our central focus. We support local and foreign missions. We have appropriately designed programs and activities for adults and children of all ages.

About Membership

Joining a church is a MAJOR life decision and we are honored that you are considering connecting with us. Each week, we extend an opportunity for persons to respond to the gospel during one of these four invitations:

Salvation

You accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by confessing Him with your mouth, believing in your heart, and receiving forgiveness of your sins. Romans 10:9-10.

Reinstatement

You have accepted Christ but have strayed in your walk with Him. You rededicate yourself to Christ. 1 John 1:9.

Assurance

You receive absolute assurance if you are unsure of your salvation status. 1 John 5:13.

Church Membership

We extend membership to anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Hebrews 10:25.

Once you take the first step, our goal is to make your transition to membership as seamless as possible. We provide New Member Orientation designed to help you get to know us and learn more about Jesus Christ.
